Madhab Das Char

Mr. Madhab Das Char is a seasoned professional with over 32 years of distinguished experience in the banking and agricultural development sectors. He served in the State Bank of India, one of the country's leading banking institutions, where he held key responsibilities in High Value Commercial Advances, Microfinance, Rural Banking, and Business Development.

Before his banking career, he worked as an officer in the Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal, serving in both North and South Bengal. His extensive exposure to agricultural practices, rural economies, and institutional finance has enabled him to make meaningful contributions to community-oriented development initiatives.

Following his retirement from SBI, Mr. Char continued his professional engagement as an Agriculture Expert with the World Bank-assisted District Project Management Unit in Burdwan and Suri, West Bengal, supporting sustainable agriculture and rural development programmes.

His vast expertise in agriculture, financial management, and rural development provides invaluable strategic guidance to the organization's environmental sustainability and community empowerment initiatives.
