Dr. Chaitali Pal

Dr. Chaitali Pal is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 20 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Economics. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Sovarani Memorial College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta.

Dr Pal holds a PhD in Economics and has qualified the UGC-NET examination. Her areas of specialization include Health Economics and Environmental Economics, with extensive research focused on climate change, water scarcity, public health, urban poverty, and socio-economic development.

She has published several research papers and contributed to national and international conferences on topics related to sustainable development, environmental pollution, public health, and social welfare. Her academic contributions reflect a deep commitment to evidence-based policy research and community-oriented development.
